Obituary

Mrs. Karen A. (Mullahy) Rudolph, 53, of Gloucester passed unexpectedly away on Thursday, November 10, 2016 in Addison Gilbert Hospital. She was the wife of James H. Rudolph, Jr. with whom she shared 13 years of marriage.

Karen was born October 5, 1963 in Gloucester daughter of William H. Mullahy of Delaware and Alice J. (Sanborn) Mullahy of Gloucester. She was a lifelong resident of Gloucester and a graduate of Northshore Regional Vocational Technical School Class of 1983.

She worked for Cyrk Clothing in the Quality Control Department and was known as "Little Karen".

She was known as a giving person who loved her family. Karen enjoyed camping and could be found sitting next to the campfire talking. She also enjoyed playing 500 Rummy and sitting with her grandmother at the Gloucester Waterfront on the Boulevard near the bridge watching the boats go by. Karen also enjoyed walking along the shoreline.

In addition to her husband Jimmy, father William and mother Alice, Karen is survived by her two sisters Debbie A. Perruzzi and her husband Richard S. and Cindy Burke and her husband Scott all of Gloucester. Her brother Richard Klier of Orlando, FL, Her mother in law Barbara Rudolph, sister in law Margaret Seale and many nieces and nephews.

She was the granddaughter of the late Edith and Richard Sanborn and aunt of the late CPL Steven Gerrior.

Karen's Funeral Service will be in the Pike-Newhall Funeral Home, 61 Middle St. Gloucester of Thursday, November 17, 2016 at 11 AM. Visiting hours will be on Wednesday evening, November 16, 2016 from 4-7 PM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Interment will be in Dollivers Memorial Cemetery, West Gloucester.
