Mrs. Janice A. (Munroe) Perry, 75, of Gloucester passed away on Wednesday March 29, 2017 in Care One at Essex Park in Beverly after a lengthy illness. She was the wife of Richard Iovanne.

Janice was born February 20, 1942 in Gloucester. She was the daughter of the late Herbert J. Munroe, Sr. and May (Moulton) Munroe. She was a lifelong resident of Gloucester. She received her GED and went onto Endicott College where she received her degree in Social Work.

She worked at TCB in Gloucester as a licensed Social Worker for over 20 years until her retirement.

Janice loved arts and crafts, she also did watercolor painting as well as sewing. She enjoyed going to yard sales and will always be remembered as a loving, very kind and generous person and will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew her.

In addition to her husband Richard, Janice is survived by her children Lynda J. Perry-Tully of Danvers, Thomas W. Perry and his wife Marion of Gloucester, Steven S. Perry of Gloucester and Kevin Perry Hunt and his wife Kathleen of Gloucester. Her siblings Herbert J. Munroe, Jr. and his wife Joanie of Gloucester, Geraldine Orlando of Gloucester, Marilyn Ramsey and her husband Philip of SC, Anne Winchester of Gloucester and Thomas H. Munroe of Gloucester, also Marjorie Todd and her husband Kenny of Gloucester, Jon Brian and his wife Ola of Maine and Jay Hollinster of PA. Her four grandchildren Tiffany Sheehy and her husband Ryan, Ellie Perry, Taylor and Patrick Hunt. Her two great grandchildren Olivia and Kellan Sheehy. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and close friends.

She was predeceased by her former husband Thomas Perry, Sr., her sister Barbara Jean Munroe and her brother in laws David Winchester and Michael Orlando Sr, and nephew Michael Orlando Jr.

Janice's Memorial Visitation will be in the Pike-Newhall Funeral Home, 61 Middle St. Gloucester on Wednesday, April 5, 2017 from 4-6 PM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. In keeping with Janice's wishes burial will be private.
