Pike-Newhall Funeral Home & Cremation Services

"The most satisfying aspect of my job as a funeral director is supporting families through a very difficult time in their life and helping them create a unique, personalized and deeply meaningful ceremony that honors the life of their loved one." - Thomas C. Newhall

The Pike Funeral Home was established in 1900 by Willard Pike. The funeral home was then operated for many years by Willard's grandson Harold N. Pike. The business was sold to Kevin J. Grondin in 1992 and renamed to Pike-Grondin Funeral Home. Kevin operated the funeral home until 2015 when Thomas C. Newhall acquired the business and has renamed it to the Pike-Newhall Funeral Home.

Tommy and his wife Robin are excited to meet and serve the Cape Ann community. "We have been avid visitors over the years to Gloucester and Rockport. We enjoy the beautiful beaches, local food and culture of the area." You can find them these days walking at Stage Fort Park with their dogs, combing one of the beaches or enjoying local catches prepared deliciously at one of the restaurants.

Thomas C. Newhall - Type 3 Funeral Director and Embalmer - Tommy brings more than 20 years of experience of funeral service knowledge to the families he serves. He is a graduate of The New England Institute at Mount Ida Collage. He has been a licensed funeral director and embalmer since 1993.

Tommy enjoys serving the community and looks forward to carrying on the kind of exemplary service that the late Harold N. Pike and the previous owner, Kevin J. Grondin, brought forth with diligence and commitment to families of Cape Ann and the surrounding area. Tommy takes great pride in all aspects of funeral service, from embalming to meeting families to arrange deeply meaningful and appropriate ceremonies.

In Addition to carrying out the daily operations of the funeral home, Tommy belongs to many groups and organizations that help and support the communities of the North Shore.

Tommy resides with his wife, Robin, his three daughters, Teagan, Brigid and Rilee as well as his two dogs, Fenway and Pixie.
